From the San Juan Islands Ferry Group
The San Juan County Ferry Advisory Committee (FAC) meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 11 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Lopez Island Public Library meeting room. The FAC is scheduling some meetings in locations other than Friday Harbor to make it easier for residents of other islands to attend.
Later in the month, Representatives Jeff Morris and Kris Lytton and Senator Kevin Ranker are planning to attend a meeting of the San Juan Islands Ferry Group on May 21 at 9:30 a.m. in Anacortes at the Cap Sante Court Retirement Community.
The purpose of the meeting will be to review the outcomes of the current legislative session and plan strategies for identifying sustainable funding for ferries (both operational and construction budgets).
