From the San Juan Preservation Trust

It’s time to return to Turtleback to celebrate the 5th anniversary of that remarkable project, our community, and land conservation in the San Juan Islands.

To that end, we cordially invite you and your guests to our 4th Annual Summer Social, held this year at the South Entrance to Turtleback Mountain, on Saturday, July 30.

Once again we will be teaming up with the artists of Plein Air Washington as well as Crow Valley Pottery and Gallery to bring you an inspired collection of paintings that celebrate the Preservation Trust’s conservation lands.  In addition to the art show and sale, we have all kinds of other fun things in store:

1:00 pm  Naturalist-guided Hikes on Turtleback Mountain (come check out the new loop trail!)

3:30 – 6:30 pm  Art show and Auction * On-Site Plein Air Painting * Children’s Activities

Food by Orcas Village Store, wine from San Juan Vineyards, and music by Sharon Abreu and Michael Hurwicz. $25 per person suggested donation
