The Healing Arts Center’s 30th biannual Healing Arts Fair is coming up on the weekend of May 5-6. This fair represents the Center’s outreach to the Orcas Island community; all are invited to sample the many offerings of their practitioners, at greatly discounted fees.
Among these are several massage therapists, an acupuncturist, an herbalist, a nurse practitioner, and a counselor offering shamanic counseling. In addition, a Saturday afternoon “Snack Attack” class, only $15 by pre-registration, will offer advice on healthy snacking.
These fairs help raise funds for needed improvements for the historic Eastsound building that the HAC has maintained for 30 years; all practitioners donate their services to the non-profit. A portion of the proceeds will fund our SOS outreach program.
