Council Member Rick Hughes will hold an open house on Wednesday, December 4 from 5-7 PM at the Eastsound Fire Station along with Eastsound Planning Review Committee (EPRC) Chair Gulliver Rankin, and county officials — Councilman Bob Jarman, Auditor Milene Henley and Manager Mike Thomas.
Hughes plans to speak briefly on the year in review, plans for 2014, the ferries, Development and Planning and Public Works county departments, the just-passed budget and transportation plans for next year.
He expects Rankin to update the meeting on recent work of the EPRC regarding upgrades to Prune Alley in the Streetscape Plan, among other EPRC initiatives.
Hughes says, “Transportation and the Streetscape Plan are among my legislative priorities for next year. It’s important for people to get involved.”
