— from the Funhouse Commons —
The Funhouse Commons, local counselors, Orcas Island Schools and Orcas Island Medical Center have come together and recognized the need for our community to reduce teen drug use.
On Wednesday, October 22nd, Beth Jenson, MA, LMHC is leading a discussion in how to reduce teen drug use on Orcas Island using a four-directional push: Community, Activities, Schools and Professionals. It will include facilitated discussion and group brainstorming activities.
We invite all parents of teens, tweens, and soon-to-be tweens, school administrators, medical and law professionals, activity directors, and community members that care about Orcas kids to come and join the discussion.
Together, we can improve the futures of Orcas teens.
The meeting will be at 7-9 p.m. at the Orcas Fire Hall on Wednesday, October 22.
Email Beth at beth@bethjenson.com if you have any further questions or concerns.
