DOH updated service and emotional support animals guidance. This guidance provides assistance to local governments in establishing best practices standards for people who are ill with COVID-19 and depend on a service animal or emotional support animal. FEMA to provide financial assistance for COVID-19-related funeral expenses. Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) will provide financial assistance for COVID-19-related funeral expenses incurred after Jan. 20, 2020.
