Yes Martha, there is a San Juan Islands Audubon Christmas Bird Count this year! The holidays are such a busy time of year we chose to do the count when folks are not so busy so mark your calendars for Saturday, January 3rd for the count.
Join other birders around the county in counting birds in your area. Even if you are new to birding come along and meet others on this one day event.There are routes to cover, backyards and feeders to count and even a couple of boats going out to find birds in our 15-mile wide circle.
