In addition, the second night of each concert pair will be livestreamed!

Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival Founder and Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann is excited to present this summer’s Festival concerts for live audiences again, after a year of high-quality live online events. World-class musicians from across the country are gathering on Orcas Island again to perform in five pairs of live, in-person concerts on August 6 & 7, 10 & 11, 13 & 14, 17 & 18 and 20 & 21. The first night of each pair will be at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), and the same repertoire will be repeated at 5:30 p.m. the next evening. Ticket sales for the live concerts are very limited to allow safe distance between concertgoers in compliance with Covid-19 guidelines. All tickets are initially General Admission, and seating will be assigned close to performance dates in order to follow safety protocols at that time, allowing as many people as possible in the theater to experience the concerts. Masks will be required at all times inside the Orcas Center building. In-person concert tickets are $40 for adults and $10 for ages 6-18. Tickets are available starting Wednesday, June 23, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time at oicmf.org and orcascenter.org.

All five of the 24th Season Livestream Concerts are offered free of charge!

Building on the incredible success of the 2020 Season of livestreamed concerts, the intimacy of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival is coming directly to your home – or wherever you are – as it’s happening! The second of each concert pair, on August 7, 11, 14, 18, and 21, will be broadcast live from the Orcas Center stage, starting at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time. OICMF is excited to be working with Orcas Center and their team of video experts, along with Festival recording engineer Roger Sherman, to deliver an intimate multi-camera concert experience to audiences who are not able to be at Orcas Center for the live performances. Thanks to generous sponsorship by the OICMF Robert Henigson Board Designated Fund, all five of the Livestream Concerts are free. Tickets for the livestream concerts are available starting Wednesday, June 23, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time at oicmf.org/tickets/.

Chamber Music on Lopez

Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival will also travel to Lopez Island for a concert at Grace Episcopal Church on Sunday, August 15, at 3 p.m. Lopez audiences have welcomed OICMF musicians for concerts during summer Festivals since 2012, and will enjoy this afternoon concert of strings and winds performing in the dynamic acoustics of Grace Church.
