Description | The National Weather Service in Seattle has Issued a High Wind Watch, Which is in effect from Late Thursday Night Through Friday Afternoon. * Wind, Southerly winds 30 to 40 MPH, with Gusts to 60 MPH. * Some Affected Locations, San Juan County, Western Whatcom County, Western Skagit County, and Admiralty Inlet Area. * Timing, Early Friday Morning Through Friday Afternoon. * Impacts, Gusty winds Could Blow around Unsecured Objects. Tree Limbs Could be Blown Down and a Few Power Outages May Result. A High Wind watch Means There is the Potential for a Hazardous High Wind Event. Sustained winds of at Least 40 MPH, or Gusts Of 58 MPH or Stronger May Occur. |
