A Musical Carnival! Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival celebrates its 15th Anniversary with its second-ever free outdoor concert on the Village Green! Come celebrate with Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals, featuring pianists Orli Shaham and Jon Kimura Parker, with special guest author and narrator Jack Prelutsky. Adam Stern conducts the OICMF Orchestra in a program also featuring the Orcas Choral Society in Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes, Chee-Yun in music by Piazzolla, and Rod Gilfry in selections from Broadway! starting at 2 pm at Eastsound Village Green

The Ultimate Louisiana Party Tour featuring Henry Turner Jr. and Flavor! Enjoy Louisiana Reggae, Funk, Soul and Blues. Featuring a taste of Louisiana with catfish, red beans and rice! Guest bands and vendors. $20 cover. 5 to 9 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall.

Orcas Island Lions Blues and BBQ By the Bay fundraiser, celebrating 40 years of service presents ‘The Fat Tones’ rock and blues band! Doors open @ 5pm and the band starts @ 6pm. at Rosario Resort’s Beach House (formerly the Discovery House) BBQ pork sandwiches for sale and beer and wine. Cost: $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
