Rescheduled Orcas Island Public Middle School Parent Meetings for 7th and 8th grades. 6:30 p.m.Due to staff illness, the school was forced to re-schedule from an earlier date.  The event begins in the cafeteria for an introduction and demonstration of the Skyward Online Parent/Student Access System.  This will be followed by sessions with each of the teachers.  376-2284.

Great Expectations at the Orcas Center 7:30 p.m. Great Expectations will be performed Thursday-Saturday, October 15-17 and 22-24. All performances are at 7:30 pm EXCEPT for the final performance on Saturday, October 24, which is a 2 pm matinee.

The Orcas Island Community Foundation is holding an Endow Orcas meeting from 8 a.m. to noon in the Madrona Room at the Orcas Center. This session is open to all Orcas nonprofit staff and board members and will offer a general overview of the Endow Orcas program. 376-6423.

Camp Orkila Fall Festival and Haunted Hayride.Fall Festival from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Big Red Barn for climbing the wall, bow and arrow practice at the archery range, pumpkin carving, face painting, cider pressing, and other fun games .Hot dogs and hot apple cider to eat.
