“An Overview of China” presented by John Louton  9-10:30 a.m., $5. Call 376-4985 to reserve. Louton will present information about China and will relate some of his experiences while living in China, as well as his perspective on the state of U.S.-China relations. Louton received his Ph.D. in Chinese Language and Comparative Philosophy in 1981 from the University of Washington, and his work in the U.S. Foreign Service in the U.S. Information Agency took him to Taipei (4 years), Beijing (4 years), and Chengdu (4 years). e has been living on Orcas Island since 2006.
