Budget Advisory Committee and School Board Workshop about next year’s budget, 5 pm.  Projections  for needed cuts for next year to be discussed.

“Skilled and Happy Staff = Happy Customers” A two-session series from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eastsound Fire Hall for business owners and managers of both public and private enterprises. Topics will include: how to interview, how to orient and train new staff, how to coach if performance isn’t up to speed, and generational communication differences.

Orcas Island School District Board Meeting 5:30 p.m. at the School Library. “Minimum Education Plan” to be submitted to Board by Superintendent Barbara Kline.  The Board will need to adopt a minimum education plan prior to sending RIF (reduction in force) notices before May 15.

Cabaret in the Air, a fun, mysterious and unique variety show that features local dancers, singers and a musician. Cabaret in the Air will be performed in the OffCenter Stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 23, 24 and 25 at 7:30 pm.
