The Santa Tree program, formerly the Giving Tree, will be providing gifts for local children who may otherwise go without this holiday season. The Santa Tree will be on display at Island Market starting November 14.
Donors can choose a child’s tag, purchase the desired gift and drop wrapped gift to Cons Pit Stop. Donations to the program can also be made, scanned at Island Market registers. Forms will be available at Island Market, Family Resources, WIC, Food Bank, OISD, Orcas Christian School, Kaleidoscope, Salmonberry, Montessori and Children’s House. Please return forms by November 8.
Please think local when shopping for gifts. Our hope is to provide a happy Christmas for each child! The Santa Tree project is coordinated in partnership with Judi Lindgren, Dawn Parnell, Staci Diaz and Island Market.
