Local memoir author and educator Susan Lampe will talk about how you could turn family history into historical fiction in a Zoom presentation on Monday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.
Susan will explain the difference between family history, memoirs, and historical fiction, and the importance of research to enhance a story.
In addition to writing her own memoir, Susan served for many years as a judge for the Seattle Literary Contest in the historical fiction category.
A short writing exercise will be included in the program.
