The BODāLO Trio will be featured at the Brown Bag Concert Wednesday noon, July 13 at the Episcopal Church in Eastsound.
The trio is composed of Bob Littlewood, clarinet, Dale Heisinger, cello, and Louellen McCoy, piano. They have been playing together since 2006 and this is their sixth Brown Bag concert. They have also played at art openings, dance programs, luncheons, and fund raisers.
For their program on July 13th, they have chosen three beautiful adagios, the slower movements, from trios by Louise Farrenc, Ludvig van Beethoven, and Johannes Brahms. At previous Brown Bags they have played the complete Farrenc and Beethoven trios. The concert will close with “Rumanische Melodie,” a gypsy-like piece by Max Bruch.
