Hello friends and neighbors,
Following the certification of the recent primary election and a fantastic San Juan County Fair, I find myself filled with gratitude for the support of the people of San Juan County.
San Juan County voters proved that they are some of the most engaged in the state, showing
up with the second largest turnout in Washington! While my 9.5% point victory in District 2, Orcas was amazing, it is clear that I have more work to do at introducing myself to the rest of our islands. My hope is that I can build the same relationship of trust and cooperation across all of San Juan County that I have built with the residents on Orcas.
I look forward to spending the next two months continuing to make connections throughout the county, listening to your experiences, understanding your concerns, and looking for points of opportunity to improve the lives of all San Juan County residents.
This election is our chance to make sure that San Juan County is looking to the future and focused on creating a community we can all thrive in. I am humbled by your support and motivated to serve you going forward!
