||| SUN DAYS ON ORCAS BY EDEE KULPER |||
It has been an unusually snowy and sunny few days here, the white blanket holding longer than usual in the tolerable dry briskness, as all of the moisture is frozen.
We’ve had temperatures as low as -2 degrees due to windchill during the past week but last night we shot up into the 40s. As of 4 p.m. today, showers will be melting all of the white wonder away.
What a memorable start to the new year we’ve had here. May you have wonderful beginnings and lovely memories of this sunny, snowy week.
