Vehicle reservations for the summer schedule (June 16 through September 21) on our Anacortes/San Juan Islands and Port Townsend/Coupeville routes will be available at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16. Our summer season release will remain three hours later to separate the high traffic demand of the season release from the those looking to make a reservation during the daily two-week and two-day releases, which will remain at 7:00 a.m.
WSF has also implemented a virtual waiting room to prevent website overload and deliver fair access during this high-demand period. Customers accessing the site who are directed to the waiting room will see their place in line, estimated expected wait time, and will have the option to receive a notification and come back to the site when it is their turn. |

Carla and I took the Samish off island yesterday and were commenting that the upper “promenade” deck on all the ferries have been closed for years. Used to enjoy open air walking on warm days.
Pleasantly surprised when on the return trip went up to the public deck and the stairs were open to the open air deck. Thought it might be a mistake so left the door to the deck ajar until we confirmed it was open. Even though it was a little chilly made a couple of laps.
Have they been opened and this is the first time we have noticed it? I am oblivious at times.
