On Wednesday, March 21 at 10 a.m. at the Orcas Center, the Orcas Garden Club will welcome Dr. Carol Miles, ‘Vegetable Specialist’ and Associate Professor at WSU.
Dr. Miles will provide recommendations for how to successfully grow a diversity of vegetable crops year round in our northwest climate. She will also discuss simple techniques to establish productive soil and how to irrigate efficiently.
The Orcas Island Garden Club welcomes new members and encourages you to enjoy this month’s presentation. Half-year memberships are now available so stop by our membership table and sign up.
