PTSA President Barb Skotte announced today that there are still a few spots left, and time still to sign-up for the PTSA summer math classes, to be taught by Marta Nielson.
Marta is teaching both the weeks of July 6 and July 13, M-F from 9-noon at the school. The first week is titled “Counting on a Small Planet” and will focus on Incan counting systems, Outdoor Math Lab, and Geometry, Fractals and Domes.
The second week is “Math Around the World”, with students playing and building math games from various countries such as Nim, Tower of Hanoi, Kalah, etc. More specifics can be found in the attached flyers.
