Citizens’ Alliance for Property Rights (CAPR) will feature State Attorney General Rob McKenna at a dinner on Tuesday, May 4, at the San Juan Island Grange Hall. The meeting will being with dinner at 5:30. Donations are accepted for dinner, and guests are asked to bring a potluck dessert.
Citizens’ Alliance for Property Rights was organized in 2003 as a non-partisan political action committee “where individual citizens and existing organizations can work together defending property rights.”
Rob McKenna is Washington’s 17th Attorney General, elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2008. As the state’s chief legal officer, he directs 500 attorneys and nearly 800 professional staff providing legal services to
state agencies, boards and commissions.
McKenna graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, and earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in International Studies, both with honors, from the University of Washington. He has been an attorney for more than 20 years since beginning his career at the Bellevue office of Perkins Coie.
