The Orcas Island School District Board of Directors will hold a [intlink id=”12417″ type=”post”]Public Bond Hearing[/intlink] at the Special School Board Meeting with  the Budget Advisory Committee, scheduled for tomorrow,  Wednesday, June 8 in the school library.

The meeting will begin with a closed Executive Session regarding personnel matters, such as the Superintendent’s  evaluation, per state law (RCW 42.30.110.1(g) ) and then re-convene for a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. for the Special School Board Meeting with the District’s Budget Advisory Committee.

The meeting agenda calls for a Public Bond Hearing for Bond Resolution 2011-02, authorizing the issuance of [intlink id=”12234″ type=”post”]limited general obligation tax-exempt bonds[/intlink].

At 6 p.m., the  OISD Board is scheduled to  discuss approval of the Bond Resolution 2011-02.

The remainder of the meeting will be dedicated to a discussion of the 2011-12 budget with the Budget Advisory Committee.  Washington State funding for Education for the next bi-ennium, 2011-2013 was just passed by the State Legislature last week.
