The Orcas Island Park and Recreation District commissioners will be conducting a special meeting on Wednesday, May 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) at the Funhouse in Eastsound.
Discussion will center around Programming and Budget plans and the upcoming August and November ballots. the Orcas Park & Rec District was formed by voter approval last November. District Commissioners are Jim Bredouw, Bob Eagan, Martha Farish, Ian Lister and Vicki Vandermay.
The next Regular Public Meeting will be Thursday, May 13, from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Eastsound Fire Station.
