The first session of Afterschool Spanish, taught by Anna Roseberry, just ended.  However, the kids and Anna are so enthusiastic to continue learning, that  the PTSA will continue to offer sessions in March, April and May as well (TBD after May).

Each month will have a different focus topic, so if your child misses a month, he or she can return and begin learning a new topic on a fairly level playing field with the other students.  The upcoming topics are:

March — Travel the World — Countries, Places and Food;
April — Plants and Animals
May — Sports

Due to increasing student commitments this time of year, the new sessions will be once a week only, with grades 1-3 meeting on Mondays right after school, from 3:15-4:15 p.m., and grades 4-6 meeting on Wednesdays right after school, from 1:05 to 2:30 p.m. The cost of each monthly session is $25 for grades 1-3, and $38 for grades 4-6.

Sign up now, as the March sessions begin next week!  Registration forms will be available at the elementary office.  For further information, please contact Pat Hunt at pat.lohman@verizon.net or 376-2810 or Barb Skotte at bskotte@yahoo.com or 376-3930.
