Susan Slapin will mount an art show at Washington Federal Bank in May

Contributed by Susan Slapin

The show must go on… Work and framing are in process: paintings, photographs, maybe etchings and monotypes, though I must keep this show quite simple. There will be variety.

The  show will be up by May 5th, and I will be there that day, from noon to 3 p.m., also on the following Wednesday, May 12, same time frame.   I will also have the new portfolio collections in photography and painting completed — they are almost a book, but more of a collector’s item for “bodies of work.”

Themes of these portfolios include Island, Island Perspective, California Train Ride and Paintings.  The portfolio collections are available in two sizes and finishes.  I will have details, and be placing orders, for those interested.

I put a slide show together of Island, (images of serenity) includes water, woods & vistas, some birds and animals too and if a miracle occurs, that will be there too, but I can’t be sure on that one.

On the days that I am there, those two Wednesdays — I will be offering some smaller prints, unmatted-unframed, along with a few selected framed pieces, at a special savings, for these times.
