— from Diane Martindale for San Juan Islands Museum of Art —

The San Juan Islands Museum of Art (SJIMA) is presenting A Celebration for the Community opening December 20, 2018 and running until January 21, 2019.

The exhibitions feature the works of local artists Sam Connery and Mary Ann Rock, and also include Spring Street School Student Art.

This show is intended to celebrate the art of two revered local artists and give all of us an opportunity to see pieces not normally available for viewing.

For those who have art by Sam and Mary Ann and would like to loan it for the exhibition, please call Peter or Wendy at 360-370-5050 or email admin@sjima.org. Please include your contact information, the artist’s name and measurements of the art and title, if possible.

This CELEBRATION will be open to the community and visitors and admission will be free of charge.
Please go to www.sjima.org to discover more information on SJIMA workshops and family activities.
Friday-Monday 11-5 Admission is free. 540 Spring Street, Friday Harbor, WA 360-370-5050
