Rock on the Rock performs under the baton of Grace McCune

Grace McCune announces the return of the “Rock on the Rock Singers” and “Musical Theater Youth Troupe” at the Orcas Center for another eight-week series.

The “Musical Theater Youth Troupe” (for the younger singers, age 6-13) will meet every Tuesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. starting Feb. 7th for eight-weeks. The class is provided for kids who want to discover the fun of musical theater. This series will focus on learning Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” along with choreography.

The “Rock on the Rock Singers” (for the young at heart!) will meet every Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. starting Feb. 7th for eight-weeks. This is a fun and highly entertaining group that provides a great outlet for singers of all types. If your favorite place to sing is in your car or shower, this choir is for you!

Rehearsals for both groups are in the Off Center stage at the Orcas Center and will culminate in a free performance open to friends and family on the Orcas Center main stage. To register for either class, show up on the day and time of the first class. There are no auditions. The cost is $60 for the eight-week series.
