Sea View Theatre is excited to announce a showing of the classic 1922 horror movie Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror at 7pm on Thursday October 30 th . The silent movie will feature a live on stage, new score created and performed by the band Star Guts. Admission is by donation ($10 suggested).

Nosferatu established many of the tropes of vampire movies and has been remade multiple times, most recently in 2024. The original is still regarded as one of the most influential horror movies ever made. This showing provides a rare opportunity to see the film as it would have been originally shown, on the big screen with live accompaniment. The unique set up of Sea View Theatre allows the band to set up on the stage, allowing for a compelling mix of classic cinema and live music.

Star Guts is a band from the non-tropical rainforest that makes music attuned to the natural world and the beat of their hearts. They hail from the beyond, reaching us through the power of mystical masks. They are thrilled to get to create music for such an iconic fellow cryptid, and hope all can enjoy the otherworldliness of Nosferatu’s hijinks!

The event is a perfect way to get hyped for Halloween, support local music and to explore what kind of shows Sea View can offer the community. The concession booth and lounge will be open for snacks and drinks. The show is open to all ages, if attendees are prepared to see the scariest film that 1922 has to offer.
