The Funhouse Commons is the chosen July nonprofit recipient of the Orcas Food Co-op’s 3% Community Shopping Day Program. Three percent of sales made on Thursday, July 19 will be donated in support of Funhouse youth programs.
In addition to shopping on July 19, the Co-op has created even more opportunities for supporting The Funhouse kids. Throughout the entire month of July, look for The Funhouse “Coins for Community” box located at the Co-op’s cash register and consider rounding up your purchase amount to the nearest dollar every time you shop. The difference will also be donated to The Funhouse.
Through these opportunities, Orcas Food Co-op customers will help The Funhouse provide high quality, research-based, positive youth development programming for Orcas children and teens, including mentoring, out of school time, education, and post high school preparation programs.
