Complainant brought a sleeping bag to the Sheriff’s Office, stating he had found it along the construction area on Tucker Avenue. The bag appears to be in good condition, and will be turned over to Evidence for safekeeping.

A Deputy responded to a report of a Domestic incident in Friday Harbor. The Deputy gathered statements from the two parties involved and a witness and it was determined there was no probable cause to believe that an assault occurred. An information report was made.

A Lopez Island Deputy responded to the vicinity of Hughes Bay for a report of two boats tied up to privately owned buoys without permission. The vessel operators were contacted and agreed to move on. No further action was required.

A Deputy responded to a medical call at the station regarding an inmate in the jail. The Deputy transported the male to the emergency room. The male was treated and transported back to jail.

A Deputy responded to a report of a Threat in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputy made phone contact with the caller, obtained the information needed, and completed an informational report.

A Deputy on Orcas stopped a vehicle for lane travel, speed and defective brake lights. The driver was arrested for DUI, and issued an infraction for speeding 41MPH in a 25MPH zone, defective brake lights, and open container.

A Deputy responded to a report of a car that swerved to miss a deer and ran off the road. The driver reported that he did not need an accident report, already called tow to get the car, and just wanted to advise the Sheriff’s Office.

A Lopez Island woman discovered keys left in her car after giving some people a ride. The woman turned the keys over to a deputy who was able to reunite them with their rightful owner.
