15-005895 Vehicle Prowl 12:54:21 09/30/15

On 09-30-2015, this Deputy investigated a report of a vehicle prowl on San Juan Island. The reporting party stated that person(s) unknown attempted to steal the vehicle and or steal the stereo. There was damage to the ignition switch and the stereo. Case is active at this time.

On September 30, a Lopez Island resident reported that someone had entered his home and attempted to removed a safe.

15-005910 Animal at Large 13:02:02 10/01/15

On 10-01-2015, this Deputy responded to a report of dogs tied up an barking in the area of Wold Road and as I responded the complaint changed to the dogs now being at large.

15-005911 Welfare Check 14:20:14 10/01/15
On 10-01-2015, Deputies in Friday Harbor responded to the report of a male undressing himself on the street. Deputies located the male and transported him to the hospital for evaluation.

15-005912 Alarm 14:30:19 10/01/15
On 10/01/15 a San Juan Island deputy responded to a panic alarm on San Juan Dr. After contact was made with the home owners it was found to be a false alarm. The owner was asked to call the alarm company next time, as they can cancel a police response.

15-005914 Theft 16:12:21 10/01/15
On October 1, 2015, a Lopez deputy took a report of a theft of jewelery. Suspect is a former houseguest of the victim. Investigation continues.

15-005928 Malicious Mischief 10:40:25 10/02/15

On 10-02 a victim came in to report vandalism to her car. Sometime on 10-01 the left side of her car was keyed while she was doing various things in town. There are no suspects at this time. Investigation continues.

15-005932 Civil Problem 20:26:31 10/02/15
On 10-2-15 at about 2000 hours a Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a civil / landlord tenant problem in the 100 block of Portland Fair Rd.

15-005933 Fraud 09:25:55 10/03/15

On October 3, a Lopez Island man reported that his identity had been fraudulently used to open a bank account and apply for credit. His credit monitoring service detected the activity before any known monetary loss was suffered.

15-005938 Mental Health 14:15:57 10/03/15
Deputies received reports from concerned family member about a male family member with bi-polar disorder experiencing delusions and being aggressive and threatening. Family gave deputies a written statement about this and the subject was contacted and picked up on an involuntary mental heath hold.

15-005941 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 15:17:07 10/03/15
A backpack was found on the sidewalk out side Ray’s Pharmacy. The backpack was returned to owner.

15-005943 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:26:41 10/03/15
On the afternoon of 10-03-2015, I responded to a report of a Domestic Violence Assault incident. The assaults involved a mother and her son. Both were arrested for separate assaults on each other.

15-005951 Wanted Person 21:19:09 10/03/15
On 10/03/15 subject turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office on a Warrant. He was taken into custody and secured in the holding facility.

An Eastsound resident reported her storage unit was accessed by unknown persons and items were taken.

15-005979 Communications Problem 09:27:25 10/05/15

On October 5, a Lopez School employee found a voice message that had been left over the weekend where it sounded like there was an altercation occurring in the background. A deputy went checked on the caller, and found everyone safe.

15-005980 Found Property 10:01:34 10/05/15
On the date and time indicated, Complainant brought a mens wallet to Dispatch. He said he had found the wallet at the public restrooms on Sunshine Alley the previous evening.

15-005983 Traffic Stop 11:37:14 10/05/15
On 10/05/15 at approximately 1137 hours a SJC Deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding. Further investigation revealed the driver had a suspended drivers license out of Oregon. The driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended and the vehicle was impounded with a 30 day hold under WA State Law.

On 10-5-15 at 1822 hours Deputies in Friday Harbor received a report of a domestic violence incident in the 300 block of Portland Fair Rd.

15-006005 Found Property 12:20:07 10/06/15

On the date and time indicated, Complainant brought an iPad and case to Dispatch. He stated the items were found in the road at the intersection of West Side Rd at Pleasant Valley Rd; near the large metallic pineapple sculpture at the location.

Citizen reported his identity was taken over and services with Dish T.V. were charged using his name and Social Security Number.

15-006012 Injury 17:04:03 10/06/15
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a gunshot injury complaint on 10/06/15. It was determined that the involved person unintentionally shot himself in the foot. He was evaluated by Lopez Island Emergency Medical Services personnel at the scene and subsequently flown to a mainland hospital for medical treatment.
