A Deputy took a report regarding fraudulent charges on a persons credit card. Person(s) unknown had accessed credit card information and purchased several items online. An informational report documenting the fraudulent uses was taken.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a theft call in Eastsound. The suspect was identified on camera. The case is still ongoing.
19-008257 Wanted Person 12:31:20 09/26/19
Deputies arrested two subjects, one on a felony warrant and the other on a no contact order violation, rendering criminal assistance and unlawful harboring a minor.
19-008266 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 18:25:05 09/26/19
A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island property for an abandoned trailer complaint. The owner of the trailer, who left it on his neighbor’s property without permission, was identified. The property owner stated they would speak with their neighbor about removing the trailer. A report was completed.

A Deputy responded to a report of unauthorized persons on a property that were harassing a female. Upon further investigation, it is believed the female was suffering from hallucinations due to drug or mental issues. The subject did not appear to present a danger to herself or others.

A Lopez resident requested assistance claiming property that had been abandoned. A report was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a report of a hit and run. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a trespassing complaint. A trespass notice will be issued to the suspect.

A Lopez Deputy investigated an assault complaint. At this time neither party wishes to pursue charges, and the incident was documented in a report.

19-008343 Boating Problem 08:55:31 09/29/19
A Lopez Island Deputy was called regarding a beached powerboat in Shoal Bay. The owner was contacted, who was going to make arrangements to have the boat towed at high tide to safe moorage. The boat blew loose from a nearby mooring buoy during the windstorm onto the beach apparently undamaged.

Deputies responded to an at large dog which had killed another dog. The animal was taken to APS and the owner was issued a citation for allowing a dangerous dog to attack an animal and an infraction for dog at large.

A Lopez Island Deputy observed a sailboat had been blown aground in Fisherman Bay near the end of Tinkham Ln. The vessel owner was working to refloat and remove the boat to deeper water.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a domestic assault in the Roche Harbor area. A female subject was arrested for two counts of assault 4 DV and booked into the San Juan County jail.

A Lopez Deputy was asked to check on a suspicious male at Odlin Park. No crime had occurred and the male was identified.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of vandalism. The involved parties were contacted. It was determined that no crime had been committed.

A Lopez Island Deputy was sent on a report of a dog attacking a deer along Ferry Rd. The animals were gone when the Deputy arrived.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of an unsecured business. The business was checked and found to be unoccupied. There was no evidence of a crime having been committed.

A Friday Harbor Deputy made a report in regards to an order violation by a subject in custody on another matter. The report was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office.

An Orcas Island Deputy arrested a local man on multiple warrants. He later posted bail with a promise to appear. A report was taken.
19-008399 Animal at Large 11:01:02 10/01/19
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check for goats running at large on Center Rd near the school. The goats were gone when the Deputy arrived.
19-008401 Trespassing 12:21:41 10/01/19
A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Trespassing in the San Juan Island area. One person was issued a citation for Criminal Trespassing. Report taken.

San Juan Deputies responded to a possible domestic disturbance near Friday Harbor. The parties separated and a report was taken.
