A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a welfare check. The Deputy checked the subject who was fine and did not need any help.

A Sheriff Deputy responded to a report of a mental health crisis. It was discovered that the victim was suffering from effects of psychedelic substances. Medical aid was provided and the patient was released to a responsible adult.

A female dropped off a brown paper bag to a local business and left. The item discovered inside was likely to be narcotics. An identification of the person who dropped off the bag is believed to be known. The case is active.

A San Juan County Sheriff Personnel witnessed an individual walk into an Eastsound business that he had been trespassed from in the years prior. It has yet to be determined if the subject is still trespassed from the premise at this point. Case continues.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Welfare Check in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy made contact with the people living at the residence. The Deputy did not see any issues. Report taken.

An Orcas Island Deputy issued a County Mooring Violation infraction to a boat at the Obstruction Pass public dock.

An Orcas Island Deputy investigated a report of fraud. A victim answered a phone call and forwarded the scammers approximately $2000.00 via Zelle.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of an unwanted person. The suspect was arrested for harassment domestic violence and DUI. The suspect was booked into San Juan County Jail.

San Juan County Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision on Orcas Island. It was discovered that the vehicle at fault crossed the double yellow center line, striking the other vehicle. The driver of the causing vehicle was believed to be driving under the influence and was arrested.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of an individual ingesting drugs on the ferry. The subjects were contacted and subsequently issued trespassing notices for the state ferries.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to non-injury collision on the 700 block of Trail Head Rd. Upon arrival it was determined no accident occurred and the vehicle was only stuck in a ditch with no damage. Courtesy report authored.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Malicious Mischief in the San Juan Island area. The person was reporting their mailbox had been damaged over the previous night. Photos were taken of the damage. Report taken.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a welfare check, the reporting party was concerned with the wellbeing of one of their family members. The Deputy located the individual and was informed they were happy and doing fine. A report was completed.

An Orcas Island Deputy took a phone call of possible human remains located on Patos Island. An investigation was started and turned over to the San Juan County Coroners Office. No crime is suspected at this time and an incident report was authored.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Traffic Accident in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy located a two vehicle accident with minor injuries. One of the vehicles had drifted into the lane of the other, damaging both vehicles. Report taken.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a report of a parking problem. The vehicle was located parked blocking a public roadway. The vehicle appeared to be abandoned and no contact information was found for the owner. The vehicle was impounded.
