WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8
25-006947 Trespassing 08:40:06 10/08/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a trespass incident at a business in the downtown Eastsound area. The incident was documented, and the individual was trespassed from the business property.

25-006957 Trespassing 16:20:13 10/08/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of trespassing. The involved party had local warrants for their arrest; they were taken into custody and booked into jail.

25-006959 Malicious Mischief 17:31:34 10/08/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a malicious mischief, where a window was broken out by a juvenile. This case is still under investigation.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9
25-006969 Found Property 11:35:10 10/09/25
A Deputy was contacted about Found Property in the San Juan Island area. Two passports were turned over to the Sheriff’s Office. Items placed into evidence.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10
25-006985 Death Investigation 05:35:29 10/10/25
A Deputy was dispatched to a Death Investigation in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputy arrived and spoke with the people involved. A death report was completed.

25-006991 Child Abuse or Neglect 10:13:11 10/10/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a child abuse incident and conducted an initial investigation. The Deputy learned that the incident occurred in Clallam County. Subsequently the case was forwarded to the jurisdiction having legal authority over the case.

25-006992 Assault – Body Force 10:30:10 10/10/25
A Deputy was contacted at the Sheriff’s Office about an Assault.The Deputy spoke with the person who was reporting two incidents that occurred last month. Follow up required. Report taken.

25-006996 Unwanted Person 11:17:26 10/10/25
A Deputy was contacted about an unwanted person in the San Juan Island area. A business was requesting a person be served with a Trespass Warning Letter. A letter was prepared and signed. Report taken.

25-006998 Theft 11:47:27 10/10/25
A Deputy was contacted about a Theft in the San Juan Island area. The person was reporting a package had been taken from their mailbox sometime in the past week. Report taken.

25-007001 DUI 14:02:11 10/10/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a DUI incident near the ferry landing. The Deputy investigated and learned that the suspected driver was impaired. Subsequently the driver was arrested for physical control of vehicle while under the influence.

25-007003 Trespassing 15:58:17 10/10/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to King’s Market regarding a request to trespass a person. They had been caught shoplifting and were to be permanently trespassed from all Valmark LLC properties. A form was completed and issued to the offending party.

25-007007 Fraud 18:03:33 10/10/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of fraud. A counterfeit $50 bill was used at a local business. The bill was placed into evidence and there are no known suspects at this time.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11
25-007010 Trouble Unknown 00:40:44 10/11/25
An individual accidentally called 9-1-1 and sounded intoxicated. The individual was heard driving and a Deputy located the vehicle, observing that the owner was not licensed and was crossing the fog line. The Deputy conducted a traffic stop and the driver was arrested for DUI.

25-007024 Trespassing 13:48:25 10/11/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a trespassing complaint. The complainant and a witness were contacted, and a report was authored.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14
1425-007079 Trespassing 15:04:04 10/14/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a trespassing incident at a business in Eastsound. The Deputy authored a report and if the trespasser enters the business property again charges will be filed with the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
