A San Juan Deputy contacted an individual who was required to wear a GPS monitoring device which ran out of battery. The subject was arrested for escape in the third degree and resisting arrest.
19-008429 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 17:16:12 10/02/19
Deputies responded to an Eastsound address where a vehicle was reportedly being buried by an excavator operator. Further investigation lead to the arrest of the operator for littering, malicious mischief, and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a report of a protection order violation. The suspect has not yet been located but will be arrested once found.

A Deputy took a report of a bicycle theft from an apartment complex in Eastsound. The case is ongoing.
19-008457 Accident-HitRun 14:54:32 10/04/19
A Deputy took a report of an apparent hit and run vehicle collision. The reporting party discovered damage to the rear bumper of their vehicle. They figured the damage occurred sometime within the week prior. No further information available at this time.

A Deputy on Orcas Island located and arrested a wanted person. The subject was boated to San Juan Island and booked in to the San Juan County Jail.

A reporting Deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to a Possible Assault. The involved people were contacted and report taken.

San Juan Deputies were dispatched to a report of a mental subject in Friday Harbor. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

A Deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to a Traffic Accident. Deputy arrived and located a two vehicle Traffic Accident. Deputy investigated the incident and one person was arrested.
