A Lopez Island Deputy stopped and ticketed a driver for speeding in the school zone on Center Rd.
18-008964 Wanted Person 12:29:06 11/28/18
A Friday Harbor Deputy arrested a male for an out of county warrant. The male was booked into jail awaiting transport to Skagit County. Report made.
18-008967 Traffic Stop 14:15:40 11/28/18
A Friday Harbor Deputy arrested a Driver for a Warrant, whose driver’s status was also suspended. Driver provided bail amount and received a Citation for DWLS/R 3rd Degree.
18-008970 Court Order Violation 16:18:53 11/28/18
An Order Violation was reported to a Deputy that occurred in Friday Harbor. A report was taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to a report of Harassment in Friday Harbor. Investigation Continues.

Orcas Deputies responded to a possible DUI on Orcas Road. The driver was contacted and after investigation was arrested for DUI.

18-008980 Weapons Noise 03:10:58 11/29/18
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a report of men yelling profanity and multiple gunshots in the 1900 block of Ferry Road. No injured person was located and the source of the gunshots was not positively confirmed. A report was completed.
18-008989 Traffic Stop 09:48:36 11/29/18
A Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling 52 mph in a posted 35 mph speed zone in Eastsound. The driver was issued an infraction for speeding.
18-008991 Traffic Stop 10:17:29 11/29/18
A Deputy stopped a vehicle traveling 47 mph in a posted 25 mph speed zone in Eastsound. The driver was issued an infraction for speed.
18-009009 Traffic Hazard 16:47:43 11/29/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a traffic offense in Friday Harbor. The hazard was removed.
18-009014 Traffic Stop 21:12:51 11/29/18
A Friday Harbor Deputy issued an infraction to a driver for speeding, 45 mph in a 25 mph zone.

A Lopez Deputy was called for a welfare check. The person was located and escorted to the clinic.

A Lopez Deputy completed a report for a resident regarding an ongoing identity theft problem.
18-009026 Vehicle Theft 10:37:16 11/30/18
A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Civil Problem. The reporting Deputy made contact and a report was taken.

A Deputy took a report of a trespass. The suspect has been issued trespass letters in the past. Further investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy responded to a reported juvenile problem in Eastsound. The juvenile was found to have alcohol. An investigation was conducted and a report had been sent to Juvenile Services.
18-009030 Burglary – Residential 13:57:11 11/30/18
A Lopez Deputy responded an apparent burglary to an unoccupied residence. Possible evidence was collected. This case is under investigation.
18-009035 Parking Problem 17:03:32 11/30/18
A Deputy on San Juan was dispatched to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. The vehicle was blocking the roadway and was impounded.
18-009038 Agency Assistance 17:33:01 11/30/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was assigned an agency assist call. CPS (child protective services) requested a Deputy check the welfare of involved parties of an ongoing investigation. The subjects were found to be all right at their home. The investigation is ongoing.
18-009046 Traffic Stop 20:25:06 11/30/18
A Deputy on San Juan stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The driver was arrested for DWLS 3rd Degree, possession of cocaine and issued an infraction for no insurance and expired tabs over two months.
18-009050 Traffic Stop 22:34:31 11/30/18
A Friday Harbor Deputy arrested a driver for driving while suspended in the 3rd Degree. The driver was released with a citation for DWLS/R 3rd Degree, operating a vehicle without an interlock device.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a residential burglary in the Eastsound area. The investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Dispute in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted the involved people. All were advised to stay away from each other. Report taken.
18-009084 Assault – Aggravated 14:25:50 12/02/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to an aggravated assault in the Eastsound area. The investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Assist in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy advised that person involved that the issue was a Landlord/Tenant issue. Report taken.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a theft call. A report was taken.
18-009107 Parking Problem 10:26:22 12/03/18
An Orcas Island Deputy impounded a vehicle that had been abandoned on a county roadway.
18-009108 Sick or Injured Animal 11:35:55 12/03/18
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a dog that may have been hit by a car along Center Rd. The dog was not injured, but simply laying in the sun at the end of its driveway.
18-009110 Burglary – Residential 13:07:13 12/03/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Possible Attempted Burglary in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy made contact with person calling. Report taken.
18-009111 Parking Problem 13:16:15 12/03/18
An Orcas Deputy investigated a vehicle that was abandoned on a county roadway with registration expired more than 45 days. The owner of the vehicle, a scrap company, arrived on scene a short time later. He was asked to keep dispatch informed in the future so we don’t impound their scrap cars.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Trespassing in the San Juan Island area. The person was contacted and a report was taken. Several other persons were served with Trespass Warning Letters.

A Deputy contacted a group of persons on land bank property after hours. One of the persons was found to have a warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested and booked into San Juan County Jail in Friday Harbor.
18-009129 Controlled Substance Problem 10:15:17 12/04/18
A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Suspicious Circumstance. An employee located evidence of drug use in a public park. Report taken.
18-009133 Parking Problem 10:51:59 12/04/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Parking Problem in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy arrived and located a vehicle parked in the roadway. The vehicle was impounded.
