A Friday Harbor Deputy responded to a call regarding a male with a warrant in the district court. The male was taken into custody until he could post bail and he was released. Report completed.

Dispatch told us of an Officer of the Court calling for a deputy in reference to a person harassing him, he was in the court clerks office. I arrived to find one person wanting to be left alone. The court officer walked out a side door after deputies arrived.

A Lopez deputy investigated suspicious circumstances on Fisherman Bay Road. The deputy searched the property and completed a report.

The reporting deputy was dispatched to a Runaway Juvenile in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting deputy contacted the involved party. A report was taken.

A Friday Harbor resident came to the office to report harassment and theft. She said while in Monroe her ex-boyfriend stole her phone and then used her password info to change her accounts and make posts and calls in her name, harassing her and her friends. She was told to report the theft to Monroe P.D.

A Lopez Island deputy was sent to check on a dog that was reportedly being neglected. The dog was found in good health.

An Orcas Island Deputy issued a parking infraction to a vehicle parked at the Orcas ferry terminal. The deputy also marked the vehicle to be towed.

A Deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to a Domestic. The involved parties were contacted and the incident was found to be verbal only. The parties were separated for the time. Report taken.

17-008353 Accident-Injury, Traffic 08:24:18 11/27/17
A Lopez Island deputy was notified by a passerby of a traffic crash at Center Rd and Dill Rd. A pickup had been traveling east on Dill Rd and failed to stop at the stop sign and continued into a field and striking a tree. No one was found on scene. The driver had walked home.

A contractor reported the theft of a compactor from a job site on Lopez Island. The theft occurred sometime during the Thanksgiving weekend. A report was taken.

17-008361 Animal at Large 13:15:36 11/27/17
A Lopez Island woman reported a dog running at large on her property. She was able to contain the dog, which had a collar but no tags. A deputy took the dog to the kennel until the owner was located. The owner claimed the dog later. A warning letter was issued.

A Lopez Island business reported damage to its equipment. The damage occurred sometime during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. A report was taken.

17-008366 Theft 14:21:49 11/27/17
A Friday Harbor resident came to the S.O. to report an issue with his neighbor moving survey stakes. This is part of a long time, ongoing dispute with this neighbor and the victim just wanted it documented for his attorney.

A Lopez deputy investigated a firearm incident on Bakerview Road. An area check was performed and a report was written.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a single vehicle collision at Buck Park. The vehicle had struck a portion of the dog park fencing causing damage. A report was taken.

A Deputy observed a male walking on a public trail in Eastsound who was known to have warrants. The deputy arrested the male. Search incident to arrest revealed the subject was in possession of what was presumed to be heroin. The subject was booked and transported to Friday Harbor jail.

A deputy was dispatched to a Traffic Accident in the San Juan Island area. The reporting deputy arrived and located a single vehicle off the roadway. The driver was contacted and a report was taken.
