A solar panel, found on San Juan Island, was turned into the Sheriff’s Office. The panel was checked into the property and evidence room.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a parking problem. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to an accident with no injury in Eastsound. All parties involved agreed to settle things civilly.

A Deputy received a report of a suspicious. The reporting party reported that a shed door had been opened and a metal pipe had been moved from its original location. Currently there are no suspects.

A Lopez livestock owner reported the death of one sheep and injury to two others. At this time it is not known which dog(s) are responsible.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a theft call. The incident was documented.
23-009147 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 16:02:44 11/24/23
A Deputy received a suspicious call from a concerned citizen due to a note she received from a female subject. A welfare check was conducted and it was discovered that the concern was due to mental health related issues. Resources were provided to the family.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of two escaped dogs. The dogs entered a neighbor’s coop and killed a chicken. The dogs were returned to their owner, who was issued an infraction.
23-009225 Domestic Dispute or Assault 22:28:08 11/28/23
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a domestic incident. The involved parties argued about vehicle paperwork. After talking with involved individuals, there was insufficient evidence to prove that a crime had been committed. A report was completed.
