A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a theft of apples from a property. Currently there are no suspects.

16-008255 Trespassing 14:48:47 11/02/16
A Deputy was dispatched to an unwanted person incident in Friday Harbor. It was found the unwanted person left when asked and a trespassing letter is being drawn up by the business to be served. No further.

16-008263 Fraud 16:16:49 11/02/16
A local business on Orcas Island reported and attempted fraud involving wire fraud. The fraud was obverted resulting in no loss. An investigation is being conducted.

16-008265 Animal at Large 16:41:26 11/02/16
A Lopez Island deputy was called to pick up a dog running at large. The dog had no collar or tags and was not known to the caller or the deputy. The dog was held in the kennel pending identification of the owner. Lopez Animal Protection was notified.

16-008268 Welfare Check 17:21:05 11/02/16
Deputies conducted a welfare check on a juvenile female. San Juan Co Juvenile department requested the welfare check. The female was safe at her mothers residence on San Juan Island.

16-008270 Accident-Injury, Traffic 17:53:43 11/02/16
A Deputy was dispatched to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision with injury. The pedestrian was transported to the medical center and a collision report was taken. Investigation Continues.

16-008280 Unconscious 10:15:19 11/03/16
A Deputy responded to the overlook on False Bay Dr.,in Friday Harbor, reference a person in their car slumped over the steering wheel. Driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and uncooperative with Deputies when she woke up. Subject was detained for Community safekeeping.

16-008288 Trespassing 15:09:09 11/03/16
National Park rangers reported trespassing/camping on 4th of July Beach. The tent was located, but was unoccupied and possibly abandoned. Deputies will continue to attempt contact and monitor the campsite.

16-008294 Boating Problem 19:48:29 11/03/16
A vessel was issued a ticket for violation of day use only mooring at the Orcas San Juan County boat dock. This vessel has been previously warned in writing of this violation.

16-008301 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 00:15:18 11/04/16
A Deputy observed a subject hiding in the bushes next to a building on Spring street. The deputy stopped to make contact and the subject ran from the area. The
deputy chased the subject 2 blocks before losing him.

16-008307 Welfare Check 10:44:26 11/04/16
A Deputy attempted to conduct a welfare check on Lopez Island after a caller reported receiving a message from an acquaintance that indicated he was considering suicide. The exact location of the person was unknown. Attempts to locate him had negative results. Attempts to locate him continue.

16-008311 Death Investigation 13:28:51 11/04/16
A deputy was dispatched to an Unattended Death in the San Juan area. The investigation was completed and the victim was removed. No crime.

16-008316 Mental Health 15:05:13 11/04/16
Deputies responded to a residence off Mud Bay Road for a welfare check after the reporting person called to report that her tenant was having mental health issues. The involved person departed prior to the Deputies arrival. Efforts to locate him had negative results. A report was completed.

16-008328 Fraud 21:54:40 11/04/16
An Orcas Deputy was given a call back to a Lopez Resident about a possible fraud crime. The Victim paid money to service her computer thru the internet. Her computer is now infected and no longer operational. A Report was taken.

16-008333 Breathing Problems 01:35:24 11/05/16
Deputies responded to a residence on San Juan Island for CPR in progress. The victim was transported to the hospital. Investigation continues.

16-008339 Traffic Stop 14:04:16 11/05/16
A Lopez Island Deputy located a man who was reportedly having a mental health crisis on Nov 4. The man was not currently in crisis. He declined offers of help, and was released.

16-008340 Assault – Body Force 14:42:49 11/05/16
A deputy was dispatched to the Friday Harbor area in reference to an Assault. The reporting deputy arrived and investigated the incident. No law enforcement action at this time.

16-008351 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 18:25:57 11/05/16
A Lopez Island resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of a neighbor’s driveway. The vehicle did not belong there, and the windows were reportedly all fogged up. The vehicle departed before the deputy arrived to check it out. No further action necessary.

16-008354 Harassment 19:13:45 11/05/16
A deputy made contact with a San Juan Island residence about an ex-boyfriend stalking her. The incident is under investigation.

16-008370 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 21:20:16 11/06/16
Deputies responded to a residence in Friday Harbor to investigate a disturbance. Deputies checked the area and found the report not to be credible.

16-008376 Domestic Dispute or Assault 00:26:02 11/07/16
Deputies responded to a residence in Friday Harbor to provide a civil standby for a house guest that wanted to leave the residence. Deputies kept the peace and no further action was required.

16-008380 Theft 09:29:17 11/07/16
A Deputy received a call back in regards to mail theft and possible fraud to an Orcas Resident by unknown person (s). A Report was taken and a referral to the U.S. Postal Inspector was made.

16-008383 Burglary – Residential 11:40:46 11/07/16
A Decatur Island man reported that his home had been burglarized and electronics were taken. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

16-008387 Theft 13:44:32 11/07/16
An unknown subject(s) removed a purse and wallet from a vehicle parked at the apartment complex located at 415 Carter Ave., in Friday Harbor. The vehicle was unlocked. A credit card was also stolen and used at multiple locations. There is no suspect or followup information.

16-008389 Court Order Violation 14:29:54 11/07/16
A Deputy was dispatched to an Eastsound business on the report of an anti-harassment order violation. The parties were advised and separated. A report was forwarded to the Prosecutors Office for review.

16-008395 Accident-Injury, Traffic 17:29:32 11/07/16
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a bike accident on Roche Harbor Rd. The biker reported that he hit a deer causing him to fall from his bike. He was transported to the hospital for his injuries.

16-008404 Burglary – Residential 21:33:28 11/07/16
A Friday Harbor female reported a problem with her ex-boyfriend. Deputies checked her residence and the area and were unable to locate him or any signs of the problem she related. Information report filed.

16-008406 Accident-NonInj 22:49:59 11/07/16
A Deputy observed a vehicle versus deer collision on Olga Road. At the conclusion the driver was cited. A report was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to an Eastsound business reference a citizen dispute. After conducting an initial investigation a report was completed.

16-008415 Domestic Dispute or Assault 11:29:11 11/08/16
A Deputy met the victim of a domestic assault at the Orcas Sub-station. The incident occurred last night and law enforcement was not called. A report was made and forwarded to the Prosecutors office.

16-008416 Controlled Substance Problem 11:34:20 11/08/16
A Deputy responded to the Friday Harbor Elementary School reference a student that provided marijuana brownies to other students. One of the students became ill and was treated at the ER. The parents of the students were notified, the child responsible was interviewed and a CPS referral was done.

16-008425 Domestic Dispute or Assault 15:44:13 11/08/16
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a domestic. The investigation revealed that no one was assaulted at the residence. This report is for information only.
