A Friday Harbor resident reported items stolen from her vehicle as it was parked near her residence. There were multiple items stolen as well as a small amount of money. The vehicle was unlocked. No suspect or follow up information.

A subject reported his vehicle damaged while it was parked in the WSF parking lot. I requested video from the WSP Security and they responded they were unable to locate any incident. I advised the reporting party to fill out a Self reporting accident form.

Deputies responded to the Port of Friday Harbor to investigate a domestic dispute. Deputies found this was a verbal only dispute and no further law enforcement action was taken.

A Deputy was on an Area Check and found a male sleeping behind a business in Friday Harbor. Subject was warned not to camp in town and only at a designated camp site. Settled by contact.

A Canon Powershot was brought in to dispatch as found property. A check of the
memory card showed several concrete construction photos. A photo with a logo on
a cement truck was utilized to contact the involved business. An email of a few
of the photos were sent to Dave Erskine. He followed up with an email with

A Lopez deputy took a report of guitar theft. The investigation continues.

A Lopez Island resident was the victim of identity theft. The bank became
suspicious of the off island transaction and cancelled it. There was no loss to
the victim, and the suspect is unknown and in the middle east.

An Eastsound resident reported her vehicle stolen by a family member. The vehicle is believed to be on the mainland. A motor vehicle theft report was taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to a report of theft from a business in Friday Harbor. Contact was made and suspect paid for the items and was trespassed from that business. No charges were pursued.

A Deputy was dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury collision in Friday Harbor. A collision report was taken and no infractions were issued.
16-008688 Domestic Dispute or Assault 19:52:56 11/18/16
Deputies responded to a residence in Friday Harbor to settle a domestic dispute. While at the location deputies found that the male half was on court ordered conditions not to consume alcohol. The male was found to be in violation of his court order.

A Deputy was dispatched to an agency assist in Friday Harbor. It turned out to be mainly a medical response and informational report was taken.

A SJC Deputy was contacted by a citizen who wished to report a hit and run collision. The victim vehicle was parked unoccupied in the Island Market parking lot in Eastsound. The owner discovered damage to the right side of the vehicle. No note was left. The incident is under further investigation.

A Lopez deputy was dispatched for a dog picked up by a citizen in the roadway. Dog was reunited with owner and owner warned for dog-at-large.

A Friday Harbor resident contacted the Sheriffs Office to report a juvenile problem within their household. It was found the juvenile had been acting in a threatening manner and threatened to hurt himself. The juvenile was arrested, evaluated at the ER and then processed by Juvenile services.

A SJC Sheriff Deputy took a report of a hit and run accident in Eastsound. The suspect vehicle is believed to be an SUV or a Van. No persons were injured and damage to the vehicle was minor. This case is under further investigation.

A Lopez Island woman reported that someone had removed items from her unlocked car while parked in a Lopez Village parking lot. A report was taken.
16-008751 Sick or Injured Animal 21:42:46 11/21/16
A Lopez Island woman reported an injured deer along Mud Bay Rd. A deputy located the deer, who was just bedded down alongside the road until the deputy drove up. The deer jumped up and scampered off, obviously uninjured. The reporting party was relieved to hear the deer was OK.

A deputy was contacted in reference to a Vehicle Prowl that occurred in the Friday Harbor area. The victim advised several items had been removed from the victim’s vehicle over the previous night. Investigation continues.

A deputy was contacted in reference to a residential burglary that occurred in the Friday Harbor area. The victim reported missing cash from the victim’s residence. Evidence was gathered and the investigation continues.

A deputy was contacted in reference to a Trespassing that occurred in the San Juan Island area. The incident was investigated and found to be civil in nature. No enforcement action needed at this time.

A deputy was contacted in reference to a Theft that occurred in the San Juan Island area. An informational report was taken and the information was passed to another agency for follow up.

A Lopez Island Deputy responded to the Lopez Island School for an animal at
large complaint on 11/22/16. The owner of the livestock was located and he
removed his animals from school property without incident. A report was
completed.

A SJC Sheriff Deputy took a stolen vehicle report on Orcas Island. The vehicle has been listed as a documented stolen vehicle and is currently being looked for. The case is under further investigation.

The Sheriffs Office responded to a collision in the area of Douglas Rd and Madden Ln. The reporting party stated the responsible party appeared under the influence of alcohol. I located the driver and she was later arrested for DUI and processed at the Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy was dispatched to a Trespass that occurred in the San Juan Island area. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted the involved parties. The incident was settled by contact.

A deputy dispatched to the Orcas Island Public school in regards to a fight during an afterhours adult basketball game. No one on scene wanted to press charges. An incident report was made.
