20-003224 Weapons Offense 08:20:28 05/06/20
An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a weapons noise near Eastsound. A bullet was found to have gone through a window and then a wall. An investigation was completed and a report taken.
20-003228 Fraud 11:57:14 05/06/20
San Juan Deputies took a report of fraud at the Sheriff’s Office. Investigation revealed the incident to be a civil matter.
20-003229 Theft 12:04:19 05/06/20
An Orcas Deputy took a theft call near Eastsound. Some items had been taken out of a mailbox. A report was taken and there are no suspects at this time.
20-003234 Welfare Check 13:51:18 05/06/20
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a welfare check in Friday Harbor. The subject was contacted and a report was made.
20-003236 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 15:47:39 05/06/20
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious subject in Friday Harbor. A report was made.
20-003244 Animal at Large 23:38:06 05/06/20
A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to the report of a dog at large. The owner of the dog was later issued an infraction for Dog at Large 1st Offense.

Deputies contacted a person with a felony Department of Corrections warrant in Friday Harbor. While being placed under arrest, the subject assaulted a Deputy.

A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a report of a missing person. After an extensive search, missing person was located.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a subject sleeping on a trail in Friday Harbor. The subject was transported to the hospital and a report was made.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to report of a person screaming profanities. The person was contacted and a report taken.
20-003322 Fraud 12:10:49 05/09/20
A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Fraud. The caller reported someone attempted to open an account using their social security number. There has been no loss at this time. Report taken.
20-003336 Citizen Dispute 18:42:15 05/09/20
A Deputy investigated a citizen dispute at a Lopez Island business. An altercation occurred after a boater tried to dock at a location that was closed to overnight moorage. None of the involved persons wanted to pursue a formal complaint or criminal charges. A report was completed.
20-003339 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 19:26:05 05/09/20
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a report of a woman stumbling around in a grass field in the Eastsound area. Contact was made with the intoxicated individual, and after a medical evaluation she was left at home withher significant other. An informational report was taken.
20-003342 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 21:54:38 05/09/20
A Lopez Deputy responded to a call concerning overnight moorage at a local marina. The manager advised the involved vessel had made arrangements to start a long term slip rental. This was not a violation of the county health department order on transient moorage.

A Lopez Island resident turned in a found cell phone to a Deputy. A found property report was taken, and the phone was secured in evidence until the owner can be identified.
20-003356 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 14:07:11 05/10/20
A Deputy was dispatched to a Suspicious Circumstance in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy arrived and located a seriously intoxicated person sleeping. San Juan Aid was dispatched. Report taken.

A Lopez Deputy received a report of trespassing and harassment. The matter is under investigation.

A Lopez Deputy was contacted regarding a landlord/tenant dispute.

The Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to Lost Property. The person advised that they had left some property in a park and it was now missing. Report taken.

Deputies investigated an identity theft on San Juan Island. There are no suspects or workable leads at this time. A report was made and the caller was referred to follow up with the State Attorney General’s office.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Fraud. The caller had been contacted about filing for unemployment. The caller did not file for unemployment. Report taken.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Fraud. The caller advised that they received an e-mail from their employer, advising they had filed for unemployment. The caller stated this was not the case. Report taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to a report of a domestic violence in progress. The suspect was later transported to the medical center for an evaluation.
