A Deputy was dispatched to a Suspicious Circumstance in the Friday Harbor area. The caller believed there was someone in their residence. The Deputy arrived and checked the residence but no one was located.

A Deputy responded to a found property call in Friday Harbor. The reporting party found a Motorola cell phone with a black & green case on the sidewalk by Chicago Title and turned it in to the Sheriff’s Office. The owner was unable to be located and it was entered into the property room per policy.

Deputies on Orcas Island responded to the Washington State Ferry Tillikum for a report of an assault on a crewmember. After investigation, it was determined there was insufficient probable cause to support the charge.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a DUI call. The driver fled on foot by the time Law Enforcement arrived. The driver was identified by a witness fleeing the scene. A probable cause statement for several criminal citations was created.

A Lopez Deputy was notified of an elderly driver who refuses to abide by a medical suspension of his driving privileges. A referral was made to Adult Protective Services and the man’s family was notified of the situation.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the Eastsound area on private property. No injuries were reported, and only minor damage was found. A report was taken.

Deputies responded to a Lopez Island residence to investigate a potential domestic violence incident. The investigation revealed the couple had been arguing but that no crime had occurred. The involved persons agreed to separate for the evening. A report was completed.
