A Deputy conducted a welfare check on a Lopez Island resident. The reporting person stated he heard a person yelling profanity near his property and that she appeared to be confused. The involved person was identified as someone who has mental illness. It was determined she was safe at home.

A Deputy on Orcas Island was dispatched to a possible DUI driver at the ferry terminal. The driver of the suspect vehicle was arrested for DUI and booked into the San Juan County Jail.

A Deputy on Orcas was dispatched to a burglary call on Raccoon Point Road. A report and photographs were taken. There are no suspects at this time.

The reporting Deputy was contacted in reference to Found Property. The person had located an item in a local park. Item entered into evidence as found property. Report taken.

involved. The incident turned out not to be a Domestic. It was determined that no crime occurred. Report made.

Deputies stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The driver was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license without ID, cited and released, and issued an infraction for driving with no insurance.

The reporting Deputy was dispatched to a Suicide Attempt in the San Juan Island. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted the person involved. After speaking with the person, the person was transported to the hospital. Report taken.

A part time Lopez resident reported a trespassing incident that was captured on his home security video system. A Deputy checked the home and property and nothing appeared to be out of place.

Deputies responded to an Eastsound address regarding a reported harassment between siblings. Further investigation revealed crimes of assault and harassment and one subject was taken into custody. The case is under further investigation.
