Orcas Island Deputies responded to a citizen assist. The individual was looking to surrender three firearms. Deputies received the firearms and processed them for safekeeping.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of mail theft. A report was completed.
25-002821 Burglary – Residential 18:36:01 05/14/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a residential burglary near the Enchanted Forest area. The burglary occurred when the resident was out of town. An investigation into this incident is underway, and the incident was documented.
25-002823 Parking Problem 20:16:23 05/14/25
A San Juan Deputy contacted a driver for parking in the roadway. The driver was drinking alcohol when the Deputy contacted them and nearly struck the Deputy’s patrol car when hiding the beverage. The driver was arrested for DUI and was booked into jail.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a protection order violation. An investigation took place, and a review of the protection order was conducted. It was revealed that no violation of the protection order occurred. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a trespasser. The Deputy checked the area but was unable to locate the person.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of two ex-employees taking table lamps from a restaurant. The individuals in question returned the lamps, and the incident was documented.

A Deputy was contacted about a Runaway Juvenile. After speaking with the parent, parent did not wish to pursue anything at this time. Report taken.
25-002840 Wanted Person 17:37:53 05/15/25
San Juan Deputies responded to the residence of a person known to have a warrant for their arrest involving multiple violent felonies. The person was located and booked into jail.
25-002847 Traffic Violation 23:33:21 05/15/25
A San Juan Deputy completed a records check on a vehicle parked on False Bay Rd, which drove away shortly after. The initial return showed that the registration expired in 2016. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested for DUI.

An Orcas Island Deputy observed suspicious activity at a park in Eastsound. After investigating the suspicious activity, the citizen claimed that they were just sad and didn’t need help. The Deputy offered resources to the person.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a found debit card. The owner was not located and the card was entered into evidence.

An Orcas Island Deputy was conducting patrol near Lummi Nation land and observed someone had dumped a large amount of trash at the end of Haven Rd. If you have information or know who may have done this contact the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office.

A San Juan Deputy stopped a vehicle for following too close. The driver was arrested for DUI.

A Friday Harbor man made a report to the Sheriff’s Office the mother of his child is not following the parenting plan. The mother continues to not pick up their child at the agreed upon pickup time. This report is for informational purposes only.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a Domestic Incident on board a vessel at the Port of Friday Harbor. The male half was gone on arrival and the female half reported that it was verbal only. A report was completed.
25-002917 Accident-NonInj 23:17:22 05/18/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a non-injury accident on Mitchell Bay Rd. The driver was tired while driving and decided to close his eyes. Ultimately, the vehicle went off the roadway and crashed. The driver was issued an infraction for driving with wheels off roadway.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a vandalism call at a local business. The suspect was trespassed from the property and a report was completed.
25-002929 CPR ALS 15:51:35 05/19/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded with San Juan EMS and San Juan Fire to a report of CPR in progress. The patient was flown off the island for further care. A report was completed.
25-002930 Domestic Dispute or Assault 19:22:10 05/19/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a domestic incident. After speaking with the involved parties, probable cause for a crime was not established. One half of the incident agreed to leave the area. A report was completed.
25-002932 Juvenile Problem 21:56:10 05/19/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a juvenile in possession of marijuana. The marijuana vape pens were collected as evidence and a probable cause statement for Possession of Marijuana Under 21 was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report over the phone of a domestic incident, as the reporting partying wanted a phone call. Probable cause for a crime was not established. A report was completed.
