A Deputy was dispatched to an Unwanted person in Friday Harbor. The complainant is going to petition for a protection order. No further.
17-002548 Parking Problem 08:08:41 05/10/17
A Deputy responded to a complaint of an unoccupied vehicle illegally parked in the Lopez Ferry Terminal. It was believed the vehicle was driven and abandoned by a person who had been involved in an assault. That person was not the vehicle owner. The vehicle owner was notified and the vehicle was removed.

A Deputy received a report of a welfare check in Friday Harbor. The Deputy checked on the person and discovered that the person was deceased. This case in still under investigation.

A Deputy located a Friday Harbor resident violating a domestic Violence No Contact Order by being in the presence of the protected party. The subject was taken into custody and booked for the violation.

A Deputy responded to an assault call in Eastsound. After an investigation there were no serious injuries and no suspects at this time.
17-002594 Assault – Aggravated 10:07:50 05/12/17
Deputies received a Delayed Report of an Aggravated Assault from a male visitor to Lopez Island on 4/24/17. The male was assaulted by three males on Ferry Rd causing substantial bodily injury. Deputies gathered information for a report & interviewed a witness. Investigation ongoing.
17-002595 Litter/Pollution/Public Health 11:20:55 05/12/17
Lopez deputies received a report that someone left a 55 gallon drum containing an unidentified liquid at the Lopez Island dump. Solid Waste officials advise no suspect information, but would like the public to know that potentially hazardous liquids are costly to dispose of.
17-002600 Found Property 13:16:57 05/12/17
A Friday Harbor business turned in a bike that had been left in their parking lot for three days. Our files were checked and there were no report of a similar bike reported as missing. Bike placed in evidence for safekeeping.

A deputy responded to report of fraud in Deer Harbor. An investigation was started and a report taken.

A Lopez Island deputy was called to remove an unknown subject found sleeping in travel trailer. The subject was awakened and told to leave and not return. A report was taken.
17-002631 Accident-NonInj 20:46:15 05/13/17
Deputies arrived at the intersection of Roche Harbor Road and Hillview Lane to investigate a report of a traffic accident. The driver was arrested for DUI.

A Deputy was dispatched to a non-injury collision in Friday Harbor. A report was taken.
17-002645 Found Property 15:01:33 05/14/17
A Lopez Island deputy found baskets of personal property accidentally left along Ferry Rd as the ferry was loading. The items were returned to their grateful owner prior to the sailing.
17-002650 Burglary – Residential 17:02:37 05/14/17
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a burglary that took place within the last year. It was evident that people entered the residence leaving bedding, garbage, and drug paraphernalia inside of the residence. Currently there are no suspects.

A Deputy responded to a property damage call in Eastsound. An investigation was conducted and a report taken. No suspects at this time.
17-002670 Accident-Injury, Traffic 17:07:23 05/15/17
Orcas deputies responded to a single car motor vehicle collision in the 3200 block of Orcas Rd. Only minor injuries were reported and a collision report was made.

A Lopez Island deputy was called regarding a tree down across Center Rd. The deputy stood by on scene until a public works crew arrived and cleared the roadway.

A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a possible fraudulent email. The reporting party has not lost any money at this point. This report is for information at this time.

Deputies responded to a residence on San Juan Island to investigate a domestic disturbance. Deputies found a female at this location was upset over her dog getting out of her trailer.
