A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a traffic hazard. The Deputy arrived and observed a vehicle which left the roadway and struck a small tree. The driver was issued an infraction for wheels off roadway.

A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to investigate an unsecured residence. The house was cleared and found to be apparently undisturbed. A note was left for the owner, and the home was secured.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a dog in a vehicle, with the windows open partially. The outside temperature was 46 degrees at the time. The Deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

A Lopez Island man was taken into custody when he failed to surrender as ordered by the court to begin serving a sentence. He was arrested without incident and transported to Friday Harbor on a new charge of bail jumping.
