A Lopez Island Deputy initiated a neglect investigation based on a referral from Adult Protective Services.

18-002055 Wanted Person 16:40:09 03/28/18
Lopez Island Deputies took a man into custody on a Walla Walla County arrest warrant. The man was transported to jail in Friday Harbor pending transfer to Walla Walla.

18-002056 Citizen Assist 18:34:13 03/28/18
An Orcas Deputy went to a citizen assist call. It was reported that one family member was keeping mail that had come for another family member. A report was taken after talking with all family members.

A Deputy responded to an Injury Collision in Friday Harbor. A traffic collision report was completed. No infractions issued.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a theft call. A report was taken. No suspects at this time.

The reporting Deputy was dispatched to the Friday Harbor area in reference to a Hit and Run – Unattended vehicle. The reporting Deputy arrived and took a report on the incident. Investigation continues…

A Deputy in Friday Harbor arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant. The subject was booked into the San Juan County Jail.

18-002110 Wanted Person 19:27:38 03/30/18
A Deputy on Orcas noticed a subject with a warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.

18-002129 Threats 14:18:17 03/31/18
Lopez Deputies investigated a road rage incident that resulted in the crime of harassment. A Lopez man was arrested the next day and booked into jail.

18-002131 Theft 14:35:54 03/31/18
A Deputy was dispatched to the Friday Harbor area in reference to a Theft. The reporting Deputy investigated the incident. One person was arrested for Theft (shoplifting).

18-002136 Theft 16:51:59 03/31/18
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a theft complaint. A report was taken.

18-002143 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:12:26 03/31/18
Deputies on Orcas responded to a domestic. After interviewing both parties it was found that there was no physical altercation, verbal abuse, or threats made. A report was taken.

18-002154 Mental Health 09:46:48 04/01/18
A Deputy was dispatched to assist with a Mental Health issue. The reporting Deputy was able to get the person to go to the hospital.

18-002158 Traffic Violation 16:33:57 04/01/18
A Friday Harbor Deputy responded to a Traffic Offense call on San Juan Island. The Deputy found that a street sign had been damaged in a possible hit & run. There are no witnesses and no workable leads at this time. An information report was made and county public works notified.

A Deputy responded to a report of a theft of a purse from a vehicle in Eastsound. The victim has taken steps to prevent being defrauded. The case is under further investigation at this time.

18-002182 Court Order Violation 18:36:11 04/02/18
Deputies arrested a male in Friday Harbor for an Order Violation.

A Lopez Deputy assisted another agency on by checking a Lopez residence for a missing person. The missing person, who lives full time on the mainland, was not located at the residence. The home owner confirmed he has had no contact with the person for over two years. A report was completed.

18-002194 Burglary,NonRes 11:20:57 04/03/18
A Deputy was dispatched to the Friday Harbor area in reference to a Commercial Burglary. The reporting Deputy arrived and gathered several items of evidence. Investigation continues…

18-002205 Unwanted Person 16:04:24 04/03/18
A Lopez Island Deputy was called to a local business regarding a disruptive customer. The business owner issued a trespass warning to the offender prohibiting that person from returning to the business. A report was taken.

18-002212 Animal at Large 20:27:55 04/03/18
A Seattle woman called a Lopez Deputy for help locating her dog after it ran off and failed to return.
