San Juan Deputies witnessed a Domestic Violence No Contact Order violation. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail after attempting to barricade themselves in their vehicle.

An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to assist an outside agency with contacting a person on the island and check their welfare. The person was contacted and everything checked out fine.

A Deputy responded to a walk in report of a Communications issue in Friday Harbor. After gathering the information from the reporting party it was found that no crime occurred. An information report was made at the reporting party’s request. Information report made. No further investigation.

A Deputy was traveling Eastbound on the Washington State Ferry when approached by a white male who said he had been assaulted while on the ferry. I noticed a bump on his forehead that was red and swollen. He stated that he had been sitting in his car listening to music.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a non-injury collision. The involved parties were contacted and a report taken.

A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island residence after a person reported that her roommate started a fire in their home. It was determined that the person who started the fire suffered from a medical condition that impaired her mentally. She was transported to a hospital for an evaluation.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a theft complaint. The victim was contacted. The suspect was seen on a security system attempting to load wood into his pickup truck. The suspect was known to the victim and they elected not to pursue charges.

A Decatur Island resident reported finding the locked doors standing wide open on their home and an unfamiliar vehicle in their driveway upon returning. When they checked, nothing appeared to be missing or damaged. A report was taken.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to the Deer Harbor area for a reported suicide attempt with a firearm. Upon investigation it was determined that no crime was committed and the subject was not found to be a threat to themselves or others. Resources were provided and a report was taken.
