An Orcas Island resident had his vehicle prowled and items stolen from within while it was parked in Eastsound for less than an hour.

A Deputy received a report regarding a Boating Accident that occurred in West Sound. It was discovered the incident required a Boating Accident Report which had been provided. The vessel reportedly struck a submerged rock causing damage to the hull.
19-001829 Harassment 12:22:15 03/14/19
A Deputy took a report regarding somebody in the Eastsound area stalking and harassing another Eastsound family. A report has documented the incident and the family has plans to seek a protection order. The investigation is ongoing.

A Lopez Deputy followed up on a report of trespassing on private property. Evidence suggested people had been staying in an RV, but were not there when the Deputy searched the property.

A Deputy responded to a report of a dog bite. The victim did not know the location of the incident or the type of dog. The incident was documented.

Lopez Island Deputies responded to a domestic violence assault complaint. Deputies arrested the suspect for Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence and transported the suspect to Friday Harbor to await a hearing.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Welfare Check in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy contacted the involved persons. Report taken.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to an assault complaint stemming from a neighborhood dispute. All parties were contacted and statements taken. There was insufficient probable cause to prove an assault occurred.

A Deputy on San Juan contacted four subjects with a fire and open alcohol containers in public. All four were issued an infraction for open alcohol container and one of the subjects was arrested on a warrant and obstructing law enforcement.

A Deputy on Orcas Island received a report of a stolen cell phone. The complainant was able to track the location of the phone. The phone was recovered by the law enforcement jurisdiction in which the phone was located.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a welfare check. A two year old was taken into protective custody. The investigation is ongoing. CPS was notified.
19-001954 Trauma ALS 20:44:24 03/19/19
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a medical call along with Orcas Fire. The reporting party described the patient to be unconscious and unresponsive. She was found to be intoxicated and arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
